Tatianna Steiner | CEO

Public Relations & Marketing

Born and raised in San Diego, Tatianna has been dancing since the age of 5, training in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and modern. Currently, she is a freelance movement artist in the Bay Area and is grateful to have had the opportunity to perform with Printz Dance Project, SanSan Kwan, APAture, and NACHMO.

Ella Wright | COO

Operations & Development

Ella grew up in the Bay Area, training in Ballet from a young age and later trained pre-professionally in San Francisco. Through the UC Berkeley Dance program, she found a passion for modern dance and is now a committed arts administrator, dance instructor, and freelance movement artist.

Teo Lin-Bianco | CFO

Finance & Production

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Teo trained in jazz, contemporary, and tap, with a background in circus arts that informs their dynamic and expressive movement style. With experience performing with companies like Printz Dance Project, Teo is committed to movement as a form of connection and community-building.

Escapement Cast

Ash Abe

Ash Abe (they/them) is a Bay Area-born and raised organizer and movement artist. They hold a B.A. in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley, where they performed with multiple dance organizations, including Tether Dance Company and the AFX Competition Team. Ash’s practice is rooted in a desire to queer the world around them, shaping an approach to movement that is expansive and subverts genres. They weave together diverse movement styles, drawing on a background in gymnastics and ongoing training in martial arts tricking, street styles, and modern dance.

Ava Shannon

Ava Shannon is a queer nonbinary dancer, teacher, choreographer, body worker and multidisciplinary artist based in the Bay Area. They obtained their BFA from Point Park University where they danced with choreographers such as Christopher Huggins, Rennie Harris, and Jason Mcdole. Since graduating, Ava has worked with companies including Robert Moses’ Kin, Tara Pilbrow Dance, Kambara+, The Pillow Projects, and Printz Dance Project.. They have presented their own work, at SafeHouse Arts, The Space Upstairs, Public Works SF and Redfishbowl Studios.

Corinne Dummel

Corinne Dummel is a contemporary dance artist based in San Francisco. She trained at the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts Conservatory Dance Department, and earned her BFA in Dance and BA in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara. Corinne has performed with Selah Dance Collectiv and toured with the UCSB Dance Company. Her work has been showcased in the 2025 RAW Showcase, 2024 Fluid Expressions Festival, and 2026 Dispatches in Motion Showcase. Her dance film premiered in Tether Dance Project’s 2025 Flux and Form.

Elizabeth Wiehe

Elizabeth Wiehe is a dance artist and choreographer based in San Francisco. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, she earned a BFA in dance from George Mason University. Elizabeth also studied at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Sydney Dance Company, and Alonzo King Lines Ballet. Elizabeth has performed with Dragons Dance, directed by Erin Yen & Joe Landini Dance, as well as an active collaborator with Tether Dance Project. Elizabeth directs Pearl Street Dance Collective and looks forward to contributing further to the arts community.

Emma Lowe

Emma Lowe (they/them) is a movement artist based in the California Bay Area. They are a double bear, earning their BS in Environmental Studies and a minor in Dance at UC Berkeley, and now working towards an MA in Education. Emma has danced in numerous productions at Cal and has performed at SAFEhouse Arts (2023), Kearny Street Workshop’s 2024 APAture Festival, and Tether Dance Project’s 2025 Flux and Form. Emma aims for their movement to transcend genre, fusing modern dance with their training in gymnastics and street/club dance styles.

Bella Soo-Hoo

Bella Soo-Hoo (she/her) is a freelance dance artist, teacher, and Pilates instructor in the Bay Area. She is a current dancer with Pearl Street Dance Collective, Dragons Dance, and Tether Dance Project. In 2024 Bella graduated from from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and earned her BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance. Born and raised in Oakland, she grew up training at Oakland School for the Arts and the San Francisco Ballet School. She has worked with and performed works by choreographers Aszure Barton, FLOCK, Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, José Limón, and Loni Landon.

monique jonath

monique jonath is a Bay Area-born, queer, Congolese-American multidisciplinary artist with a focus on contemporary dance and poetry. monique grew up dancing at the Berkeley Ballet Theater and Shawl Anderson Dance Center . At Brown University, monique studied Psychology and Gender and Sexuality, and performed with Oja! Modern African Dance. Since returning to the Bay Area in 2024, monique has performed with pateldanceworks, Dana Lawton Dances, and co-produced and performed in an evening-length program of solo contemporary works.

Tai Lum

Tai Lum is a dancer and choreographer who received a BFA in Dance at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Tai grew up in SF, studying at the SF Ballet School, LINES Ballet Teen Company, and the ODC Dance Jam. Tai attended Ruth Asawa School of the Arts. Tai has performed at the Fort Mason Center, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the San Francisco Opera House, and more: Performing in pieces choreographed by Andrea Miller, Yuri Possokhov, and Jose Limon. Tai has choreographed for the Spark Theater Festival, The Green Space, and was commissioned for Ruth Asawa SOTA’s company piece in 2024.

Talia Sheinkopf

Talia Sheinkopf is a modern dancer new to the Bay Area this year. She earned a BA in History from Vassar College where she was also a member of Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre throughout her college career. Talia hails from Bellingham, Washington, where she has been living and dancing in the years after college and prior to her recent move. There she was a member of Bellingham Repertory Dance, a dancer-run collective based in community and artistic collaboration (celebrating 20 years this spring!) and is so grateful to have found a similarly fulfilling and warm space with Tether.

Flux & Form 2025 Cohort

  • James is a dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor in San Francisco. His work explores themes of self-expression, gender, beauty in aesthetic form as well as kinesthetic empathy. James received a Certificate in Modern Dance and Choreography from Princeton University, and is now a dance faculty member at both ODC and Rae Studios as a heels instructor. He has choreographed and performed for many local organizations including ODC and Rae, as well as Electroluxx, Comfort & Joy, West Edge Opera, and more.

  • Abigail is a San Francisco-based movement artist, educator, choreographer, and lover of people. Her work strives to cultivate joy and better understand the human experience. Abigail most identifies within a Contemporary framework with influences ranging over years of dancing in studios, clubs, and other social contexts. Styles she’s studied and enjoys fusing include Commercial Choreography, Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Breakdancing, Liturgical dance, Contact Improvisation, Gaga, West Coast Swing, and Butoh.

  • Corinne is a dance artist from San Francisco. Corinne attended high school at the Ruth Awawa school of the Arts, training in the conservatory dance department. She also trained with Dance Training Center, ODC, and Ms. Marian’s Dance Garden. She holds a BFA in dance from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Corinne has produced two showcases with Safehouse Arts in San Francisco. She was part of the 2024-2025 UCSB dance company, where she toured in Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, and Macedonia. She most recently created a new work as a guest choreographer for Ruth Asawa SOTA’s 2025 Dance Concert.

  • Elizabeth is a choreographer, dancer, producer, and director currently based in San Francisco. She is fromPittsburgh, Pennsylvania and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in dance with a minor in Journalism from George Mason University. She is the director of Pearl Street Dance Collective, a contemporary dance collective, producing dance performances in the Bay Area, and providing performance opportunities for emerging artists in San Francisco. Elizabeth has presented her choreography at George Mason University, Carmel Dance Festival, and SAFEhouse Arts. Elizabeth has had the opportunity to work with dance companies in the DC area as well perform with Joe Landini Dance & Dragons Dance in San Francisco.

  • Ellis is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in Dance and Performance Studies. They have been dancing since the age of four, studying ballet, contemporary, and modern dance. Ellis uses dance and choreography as a form of self-expression and to connect with others through shared experiences. Their work focuses on queer identity and uses the creative process to explore related ideas and emotions. Ellis values the unique perspectives of the dancers they work with, allowing collaboration to shape each piece.

  • Fosse is an aerial rope artist and dancer based in Las Vegas. He is captivated with creating theatrical circus acts that mix relatable characters with superhuman tricks. Growing up, he divided his time between dance and aerial acrobatics, later blending these two worlds into his own unique style. He later studied electrical engineering and dance at Loyola Marymount University. Fosse’s work has taken him around the world, from performing with Diavolo – Architecture in Motion, Spiegelworld, and AIDA Cruises. He currently performs at Spiegelworld’s restaurant, Superfrico, inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas.

  • Lily (she/her) is a hapa movement artist and arts administrator with deep roots in the Bay. Her work has been shown through ODC’s Pilot 74 Program, Kearny Street’s APAture Festival, SanSan Kwan’s Portals, Battery Dance Festival, and SAFEHouse Arts. She has performed with Paufve Dance, Nol Simonse, Blind Tiger Society, and the NYC-based 46 Minutes Collective. She holds a B.A. from Vassar College in Science, Technology, and Society as well as correlates in both Dance Performance and Mathematics. Lily is inspired by the possibilities of science fiction, femininity’s inherent ferocity, her own quest for freedom.

  • Mai is a dancer/choreographer, teacher, and arts administrator. She trained with Berkeley Ballet, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and Post:ballet. She holds BAs in English and Dance from UC Berkeley, where she received the Mark Goodson Prize for Distinguished Artistic Talent. Her choreography is inspired by mythology, literature, and the odd shapes she observes people make in everyday life. Mai has shown work at UC Berkeley, Emergence Dance Festival, and SAFEHouse Arts. She has danced professionally with Tiit Helimets/Mannakin Theater and Dance, and is on faculty at Berkeley Ballet. She loves to cook elaborate meals and go for nature walks!

  • Matt (They/Them) is a queer interdisciplinary artist currently based in the Bay Area. Interested in embodiment and authenticity, they play with movement, sound, and drag, to craft inherently queer and thematically enriched worlds that speak to the larger human experience. They graduated from the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program in 2024. Matt has collaborated with choreographers such as Chuck Wilt, Eric Garcia, Kayla Farrish, Natasha Adorlee, Alex Ketley, Maurya Kerr, Moscelyne ParkeHarrison and more. Currently they are a performance dance artist, educator, drag baby named Matty Mx!, and proud collaborator with UNA productions and Detour Productions.
