Flux & Form offers a formal platform for emerging choreographers to showcase work.
The curated showcase will feature eleven pieces by local choreographers: Matt Barry, Mai Corkins, Corinne Dummel, Ellis Emerson, Lily Gee, Abigail Hinson, James Jared, Fosse Lin-Bianco, Teo Lin-Bianco, Tatianna Steiner, Elizabeth Wiehe, and Ella Wright. Each piece will explore looking back in order to move forward, and how we can stay grounded in our values as artists amid ongoing challenges.

As recent college graduates, we were fortunate to have resources and performance opportunities through our university. Since entering the Bay Area arts scene, we’ve found it difficult to access visibility and support as young artists. These challenges are compounded by recent cuts to arts funding and the loss of creative spaces—making it more important than ever to amplify our voices and build community.
We are offering tiered tickets from $25 to $45. Join us for this event and be part of a growing tradition of emerging artists supporting emerging artists.
