Excerpts from Socks

Socks investigates the intersection between authenticity, code-switching, adulthood, and childhood with a cast of six dancers. In this piece, Tether Dance Project, under my direction, will explore my intangible connection to knee-high colorful socks and utilize them as a prop and costume piece with body percussion, weight sharing, and floorwork. This was a work-in-progress performance titled Excerpts from Socks, set as an initial preview to the official premiere at Dance Mission Theater April 25 and 27.
